Who are we?
Two Spanish belly dancers in London, craving for some Sun and a stronger dance community.

For some magical reason I grow up with a passion for dancing and specially for Latin and Arab rhythms. Even before I started to study Bellydance and Arab Dances I already knew I loved it but once I got started; a whole beautiful world was opened in front of me.
During approximately 9 years I have been involved in Arab Dances studying with different renowned teachers from Spain, Tunez, Cairo, and currently also UK. During those years I have been part of different amateur and professionals dance companies winning different contests in Spain and having the opportunity of performing and studying Arab Dances in a very deep level.
I can very proudly say that I am currently part of The Company of Dreams under the managment of the one and only Charlotte Deshorger and also perform regularly all over London and teach at Chisenhale dance space.

What I enjoy most in life is to experience, research and invent new ways to make you understand your body, and let you use it without pain and in a more effective way. I love teaching!
My favorite job consists of helping people like you to recover the lost connection with their bodies. To do this, I use different body techniques, specifically bellydancing and pilates. But don’t think of me as orthodox, no way! My inner nature is creative and freestyle.
I have two blogs, one fully dedicated to bellydance and another one dedicated to body awareness and pilates.
I've been involved in bellydance since 2001 and as you can imagine I've have had time to do many things: dancing in big and small theatres with different dance companies, organizing shows and haflas and teaching, teaching and teaching.

Why a hafla?
We are lucky enough to have different haflas around London. They give us many opportunities to enjoy our community and share, so we though: it would be nice to have one more!!!
With The Sunny Hafla we aim to create a new space where the community can keep sharing their views and their needs, meeting new people and enjoying.
Our mail goal is to have fun, and of course to dance and shimmy everything out!
